“You’re different. “I hope I wasn’t coming on too strong. I tacked a couple times and got us settled on a long reach out toward the island. I don’t think I’m all that pretty, but other people seem to and maybe they’re right. “Penny for your thoughts?”
“You’re an amazing woman. You can imagine what they called me in junior high.”
“I can see that. There’s usually an offshore breeze that comes up around sunset, and once it does we’ll be in good shape to get back.”
