The last time I’d seen her was a little over a week ago when I’d been kept against my will in a warehouse in Vegas. “Uh… no. The news that Carla Tanaka was here made my stomach turn; the last time I’d seen her, she was drunk and had been fooling around with one of my best friends. It’ll pass once you get some food in you. Breakfast was surprisingly good, despite having been warned by Tara that it would be healthy. “I was an only child and liked it that way.”
