Ron declined the invitation to join then saying he was going to his daughters for tea, but would take a rain check on the invite. Jackie couldn’t get the image of what she saw out of her mind and as she was hanging out the washing to dry Ron said “hello” which startled Jackie “Hi there I didn’t see you there” she replied Ron apologised for his actions earlier “no need to apologise” Said Jackie “I should have knocked on the door and not just walked in”
“No problem want that coffee?” asked Ron
“let me finish putting this washing on the line and I will be round”
Ron went inside and put the kettle on Jackie soon joined him and sat at the kitchen table she asked if he knew she was coming round and deliberately had no shorts on Ron surprised by the question said no and that has he lived alone without many visitors he just wore a t shirt when he first got up.
