The old fires started to burn with a newfound heat. After weighing my options carefully, I decided on the old ‘help me I’m a dumb guy’ routine. In retrospect, I understood her feelings. Should I have been more assertive? Lynn and I had quickly become like best of friends. She kept it inside because she felt bad about wanting to ‘explore her possibilities’ and I never really had the courage to come out and tell her how I really felt about her. Apparently, not only did she leave me, but she left town as well. “Seemed like three days.” I replied. After a couple of months of what seemed to me to be a rather blissful relationship, Lynn informed me that she had to move from where she was staying with her female friend. Our thoughts and movements often seemed in sync. I found a popular site that had various search options. “Excuse me.” I started, “But do you know how to work this thing?”
