A couple times he went out to a show by himself, anything to mark off another night. He felt all the energy, all the life, drain from his body. Amber knew what laid in front of them as they made their way back to the hotel. He was pleasantly surprised. They talked briefly and then ended the conversation with Bill promising to be home shortly.
