Lost in thought, I open the fridge out of habit. She hopped back under that blanket and started messing with her phone. She gently presses my hand to her right breast. I quickly turn, facing away from her and try to appear as if I am in the middle of the most normal, ordinary, boring shower I’d ever taken…hoping she doesn’t want to join me.
